PwC is taking on Rothschild, Lazard and STJ Advisors in equity capital markets advisory with the formation of its own team of bankers to work on stock market flotations.

The Big Four accountancy firm yesterday announced the appointment of Peter Whelan, a former Rothschild banker, as the head of a new equity capital markets advisory service.
