PwC China could be hit with a six-month ban in the country from as soon as next month, according to reports, as Chinese authorities look towards steep sanctions in the wake of the collapse of Evergrande.

Clients of PwC China have been told to brace for its business to be stopped for half a year, the Financial Times reports, after the Big Four firm gave the real estate developer a clean audit before it defaulted in 2021.
