PwC fined £8m over Kier Group and Galliford Try audits

PwC has been fined more than £8m for poor quality audits of construction companies Kier Group and Galliford Try.

The Big Four firm was hit with fines and “severe” reprimands by audit regulator the Financial Reporting Council in two separate decisions published on 7 June.
