PwC will oversee a multimillion pound compensation scheme for investors trapped in Neil Woodford’s defunct Equity Income fund.

The Financial Conduct Authority announced in April that 300,000 investors in the former flagship fund would be eligible for £235m in redress after Link Fund Solutions — the administrators responsible for the fund — reached an agreement with the City watchdog.
