Quester, a UK venture capital firm, has reopened its venture capital trust (VCT) fund with a top up issue, as the industry is forecast to pick up.

The firm will offer investors the chance to put a further £2m (€2.9m) through a new share issue into Quester VCT 5, a £22m fund it closed in May. Its portfolio valuation increased 17.7% to £20.7m in the year to June 2002
