Raiffeisen success keeps demand for Austrian banks buoyant

Austrian banks have become attractive investments with shares in Bank Austria Creditanstalt and Erste Bank more than tripling since they floated and Raiffeisen International Bank setting two records when it came to market last week.

Raiffeisen became the largest initial public offering in the history of the Wiener Börse, Austria's stock exchange, raising €1.1bn ($1.4bn).
