Railways pension scheme recruits operations head

One of the UK’s largest pension investors has appointed a new chief operating officer as it aims to bring more investment management in-house.

Paul Nathan will join RPMI Railpen, the in-house manager of the UK's £25bn Railways Pension Scheme, as COO. He will join the pension’s investment leadership team and report to Railpen managing director of investment business Julian Cripps, who in May moved from the COO post he had held since 2015.
