RPMI, which manages £30bn of assets for the Railways Pension Scheme, has named the new head of its investment department ahead of the retirement of its incumbent director this December.

Michelle Ostermann, who joined the scheme as chief fiduciary officer at the start of this year, will succeed Julian Cripps as managing director, the company said on November 20.
