Rainmaker Pigasse steps down from Lazard

Exit comes less than six months after dealmaker was handed a new role working more closely with CEO Ken Jacobs

One of the best-known names in European investment banking is stepping down from Lazard after nearly two decades at the independent investment bank.

Matthieu Pigasse, the deputy chief executive of financial advisory and chief executive of France at Lazard, is leaving to pursue entrepreneurial interests.
