Christopher Rampton, the former chief executive of Jardine Fleming Securities and one of the biggest names in the Asian equity markets, is to return to Europe at the end of this year after a 30 year career in Asia.

Rampton is currently head of Asian equities at JPMorgan Chase in Hong Kong, after a quick series of acquisitions led him to work for three different firms in less than a year. His business card has changed from Jardine Fleming to Flemings to Chase Fleming and most recently to JPMorgan Chase since the beginning of last year.
