Rate Validation Services, the provider of financial benchmarks, has appointed Andrew Simpson as chief operating officer. Simpson was formerly head of business development at EuroCCP, the equities clearing house, and has held roles at the UK Financial Services Authority and Swiss Exchange Europe. He will be responsible for implementing the firm's growth strategy.
