Ratos dodges rivals' losses by sticking with robust firms

Ratos, the Swedish private equity firm, escaped heavy losses suffered by other private equity firms in the third quarter by refusing to invest heavily in the high-tech sector, the firm's directors said.

Ratos valued its portfolio at Skr7,206m (€794m) in the quarter to the end of September, a decline of 1% from Skr7,264m (€800m) in the second quarter this year.
