The mid-market investment bank has hired a senior dealmaker to start a new operation in the French capital

Raymond James has kicked off a Paris office with the hire of a former Alantra dealmaker, becoming the latest bank to expand in the French capital.

The mid-market focused investment bank, which has been expanding in Europe, has hired Franck Portais to lead its French business and has also opened a new office office in Paris, it said in a statement.
