RBC Global Asset Management has hired a former global head of emerging markets from Société Générale Asset Management as part of the Canadian investment manager's push to make London the base for its expansion into developing economies.

RBC GAM, the Canada-based global investment manager which is part of RBC Wealth Management, has hired Philippe Langham to lead its emerging markets equities team in London. The position is a new role at the firm.
