RBC Capital Markets has raised salaries for junior bankers for a second time, as the Canadian lender brings pay in line with some of its larger Wall Street rivals.

First year analysts within its investment bank are now paid $100,000, according to people familiar with the move, an increase of $5,000 on an earlier uplift last year. Those in their second years now are paid $105,000 and $110,000 for those in their third year.
