The UK challenger bank Metro Bank has picked RBC Capital Markets as its corporate broker, while spreadbetting firm CMC Markets has named it in the same role, as the Canadian investment bank notched up a 2016 hattrick of finance-sector broking wins.

RBC will be one of two corporate brokers to Metro Bank, a spokesman for the latter confirmed.
