RBC Dain Rauscher shuffles top jobs

RBC Dain Rauscher, the securities firm owned by the Royal Bank of Canada, has appointed John Taft as chief executive. He takes over from Brian Peters, who is returning to Canada.

Taft has named Mike Kavanagh, president of RBC's clearing and execution services group, to the additional role as president of wealth management services.
