RBC Capital Markets has hired Rupert Walford, formerly at Deutsche Bank and UBS, in a new role as head of execution for European equity capital markets.

Walford will report to Darrell Uden, European head of ECM. He started at the Canadian bank earlier this month. A spokeswoman at RBC Capital Markets and Walford confirmed the move.
