Royal Bank of Scotland has continued to expand its investment banking business in the Asia-Pacific region, hiring a leading research analyst from rival UBS to run its credit research while expanding the regional brief of its head of quantitative strategy.

Scott Wilson, formerly head of Asia-Pacific credit research at UBS, joins RBS' operations in Singapore where he will lead a team of three credit analysts based there and in Hong Kong.
