Royal Bank of Scotland has recruited three more senior debt bankers as part of its US expansion drive, bringing to 15 the number of hires since John Walsh took over its North American capital markets four months ago.
The latest recruits include Sanjeev Gupta, former global head of credit derivatives at Credit Suisse First Boston, and Romita Shetty, who returns to the financial markets after taking maternity leave last year from JP Morgan, where she was global head of structured credit products. Both join RBS Greenwich Capital, the bank's Connecticut-based subsidiary.
