RBS Coutts, the international private banking division of the Royal Bank of Scotland which last year suffered the loss of a 90-odd team in south-east Asia, is continuing to rebuild its operations in the region with the hire of eight senior private bankers.

The appointments come after aggressive recruitment from the Zurich-headquartered bank this year.
