Royal Bank of Scotland has increased the number of employees receiving a zero bonus this year, executives at the bank said in a press conference following its year-end results.

Last year, following a bumper year for its investment banking division RBS Global Banking & Markets, RBS admitted that more than 100 members of staff had been given a year-end bonus of more than £1m.
