Royal Bank of Scotland has hired Rebecca Manuel from CIBC, the Canadian bank, as head of its European loan syndicate team in London.

Manuel, was previously a managing director at CIBC World Markets, where she focused on structured loan underwriting and distribution. She joins RBS before the end of this month.
