Renaissance adds seven in derivatives push

Renaissance Capital, a Russian investment bank, has made seven hires for its investment banking business just two weeks after recruiting the co-head of Goldman Sachs's Moscow office, as it looks to expand its derivatives business and African operations.

The most senior of the hires is Alan Woodcock, the head of Merrill Lynch's Johannesburg-based derivatives marketing and structured solution team, who joins Renaissance in Moscow as a managing director and head of global derivatives marketing.
