Renaissance Capital hires former Moscow ambassador

Sir Andrew Wood, the former UK ambassador to Moscow, has joined Renaissance Capital, the Russian investment bank, to help develop its business and political relationships in Russia and abroad.

Wood, who served as ambassador to Moscow from 1995 to 2000, will help introduce foreign and Russian investors to the bank's products and advise the company on its national and international capital markets strategy. He replaces Sir Michael Alexander, who died last year.
