Renaissance Capital, the investment bank, has hired a senior banker to run its Russian debt and equity capital markets business.

The bank, based in London and Moscow, has hired Andrew Cornthwaite, former head of the equity corporate finance department at Credit Suisse First Boston, to the position of managing director and head of the capital markets group.
