Report finds FSA needs to deliver

The Financial Services Authority (FSA) faces a pervasive mood of discontent in the UK, according to a report due to be published this week.

The report, written by former journalist David Lascelles for the Centre for the Study of Financial Innovation, surveyed the views of 77 UK financial institutions. It concludes that the new regulator has caused more disruption than was generally expected and had yet to deliver many practical benefits.
