Two prominent Hedge fund data providers have published contradictory reports about the inflows of capital into hedge funds in the second quarter of this year.
Tass Research, a subsidiary of Tremont Capital Management, the hedge fund advisory firm, said on Tuesday that investors put a record $43bn (€35bn) into hedge funds in the three months ending June 30, representing the fifth consecutive record quarter. It said the first quarter had seen inflows of $38bn.
