Resolution in negotiations for top West End offices

Clive Cowdery, who emerged victorious in a protracted battle to acquire Friends Provident this week, is now negotiating to rent offices in London's iconic Savile Row, as he looks for a permanent base since launching his Resolution vehicle last year. The property is based on the former headquarters of English Heritage, which preservation groups failed to save from demolition.

The company is in talks to move into the fifth floor of 23 Savile Row, a new development by property company D2 Private with 100,000 square feet of office space.
