The renewed push to shorten trading hours in Europe by institutional traders could make trading more difficult for retail participants, according to one senior industry figure.

Bjørn Sibbern, global head of exchanges at SIX, told Financial News the industry needs to keep in mind the needs of retail traders when discussing trading hours.
