Reuters, a global information and technology company, has added equities analytics from Trading Central, an independent financial research company, to its service as part of the increasing demand for independent research.

Paul Hansford, head of premium desktop services at Reuters, said: "Reuters has noted the need for independent research which has been highlighted by regulators following the recent conflict of interest scandals in the marketplace," Hansford said.
