Sir Deryck Maughan, the former chairman and chief executive of Citigroup International, is to expand his non-executive board role at Reuters by joining the online news and information group's remuneration committee.

Maughan, who has been a non-executive of Reuters since September 2005, will take on the additional duties after Reuters' annual meeting on April 26, replacing Edward Kozel, who is stepping down from the group's board after seven years as a non-executive.
