Reuters, the UK information group, has maintained pressure on Bloomberg and Thomson by signing new contracts to supply thousands of desk-top systems to Lehman Brothers and Goldman Sachs.

Reuters has renewed its contract to supply information systems to brokers at Goldman around the world and at the same time took on new customers by signing up several hundreds of investment bankers at Lehman.
