Revolut was battling heavy losses when it first applied for a UK banking licence in January 2021. The fintech has been able to turn the tables since then.

Revolut finally received approval on 25 July, capping a three-year journey where it tripled its global customers, became profitable, and clinched the title of Britain’s most valuable fintech.
