Richard Ong dismisses China fears

One of Asia’s best-known dealmakers believes market volatility in China is likely to create more opportunities for foreign investors in the country.

Speaking at the annual SuperReturn Asia conference in Hong Kong on September 22, Richard Ong, founder of Asia-focused private equity firm RRJ Capital and a former co-head of investment banking in Asia, excluding Japan, at Goldman Sachs, said: "We see every time China gets into a more difficult economic condition, the market opens up. And that creates for us a good investment opportunity."
