Risk sharing re-designs could breathe life into defined benefit

Almost a sixth of companies have more than 90% of their workforce in defined benefit schemes, despite the trend away from these arrangements, according to a recent survey.

But this figure was notably down on last year, when 25% had more than 90% in such schemes, compared with 15% early this year, according to the survey conducted by Aon Consulting.
