Risk takers still face too many hurdles in Europe

EU likely to miss 2010 target to be world's most dynamic economy

Europe is still putting too many obstacles in the way of business and financial markets and must try harder to reform if it wants to become the world's most competitive economy by 2010.

This is the main conclusion of a 50-page report for European Union governments released yesterday and drawn up by experts led by Wim Kok, the former Dutch prime minister.
