Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley have been voted the top banks in the European high yield bond market by their rivals.

Banks rarely praise each other in the hugely competitive market, and this week both firms have been subject to widespread market speculation about the size of trading losses sustained on bonds they underwrote.
