Henderson picks Gambi for CIO role

UBS Global Asset Management's departing fixed income head will rejoin Henderson Global Investors in April next year

Rob Gambi, who Financial News reported last week had decided to leave his role as head of bonds at UBS Global Asset Management, has agreed to rejoin Henderson Global Investors as its new chief investment officer.

Gambi will arrive at Henderson next April, following a family break, and take the place of former chief investment officer David Jacob, who resigned in January to become vice-chairman in charge of special projects, including a push into North America.
