Ex-UBS managing director lands top job at Turquoise

Robert Barnes, who left UBS earlier this year, has been named as the new chief executive of the LSE-owned trading venue

Turquoise, the trading platform owned by the London Stock Exchange Group and a consortium of banks, has moved quickly to replace its departing chief executive by appointing a former UBS managing director to the role.

Robert Barnes, who left UBS earlier this year, was named today as the trading venue's new chief executive, the LSE said in a statement.
