The former global head of investment banking at HSBC and chief executive of LMAX has joined UBS, becoming the latest veteran dealmaker to join the Swiss bank.

Robin Osmond started at the Swiss bank as global chief operating officer of corporate client solutions late last month, according to two sources familiar with the situation. UBS confirmed the appointment.
