Rock Capital Group, backed by NewSmith Capital Partners, wants to recruit a manager for part of a property-orientated hedge fund.

Roger Smee, head of Rock Capital, said the successful candidate would manage 40% of a hedge fund that would be devoted to trading liquid real estate securities. This will encompass long and short positions in property shares plus investments in real estate investment trusts and other derivatives.
