Rockwood pulls junk bond

Rockwood, the US speciality chemicals group, has officially postponed its $295m (€321m) junk bond offering after European and US investors rejected the deal.

Rockwood was planning to tap both the euro and dollar bond markets in a deal managed by Merrill Lynch and JP Morgan. The company was offering a yield of 12% on tranches of €125m and $195m.
