Rothschild continues senior shakeup with French recruit

Blue-blooded M&A advisor Rothschild has appointed a high-ranking French banker as one of its top managing partners, a week after revealing its new chairman.

François Pérol, who has quit his role as chairman of the board at Banque Populaire-Caisse d'Epargne, will become a managing partner and co-chairman of Rothschild's group executive committee, the bank said on Friday. Pérol will join the firm at the start of September.
