Rothschild family reshuffles French assets

The French side of the Rothschild banking family is to simplify its shareholding structure, in a move that mirrors recent events at its rival Lazard.

Paris Orléans, an investment company listed on Euronext Paris and 57% owned by the Rothschild family, will ask shareholders to vote on a share exchange offer that would give it full control of Francarep, another listed company in which Paris Orléans has a controlling stake of 74.2%.
