Rothschild hires CSFB banker to start private equity advisory arm

Rothschild, the international investment banking group, has hired a senior banker from Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) to head up a new unit that will advise companies seeking private equity capital.

Lloyd Campbell will join Rothschild after working as a managing director and co-head of the private finance group at CSFB. At Rothschild, he will be managing director and group head of the newly created equity private placement business. Campbell will also serve as a member of investment banking committee of Rothschild North America. He will be based in New York.
