Rothschild hikes junior banker pay for third time to keep pace with larger rivals

Rothschild & Co has hiked junior pay for an unprecedented third time as the independent investment bank keeps pace with larger rivals on salary rises for young dealmakers.

First-year analysts in the UK can now expect starting salaries of £70,000, according to people with knowledge of the increase, up from £65,000 previously. Second years now receive £80,000 and those in their third year of work get an £85,000 salary.
