Rothschild Private Banking, the UK wealth management boutique, has hired a managing director from Morgan Stanley as its third recruit from the US bank in a week.

Nandu Patel joins from Morgan Stanley's Private Wealth Management division where he worked since 1990, most recently as co-head of one of the group's UK investment advisor teams.
