Two parts of the Rothschild banking dynasty have resolved a legal spat over the use of the famed family name.

In a joint statement, Edmond de Rothschild, the private bank and asset manager, and Rothschild & Co, the investment bank, said they had reached an agreement over their respective brands and will unwind their cross-shareholdings.
