Veteran prime broker leaves Credit Suisse

Swiss bank's former head of European prime services, who stepped back to an advisory role last year, departs

The former head of European prime services at Credit Suisse, who moved into an advisory role in September, has left the bank after seven years, according to three people familiar with the situation.

Roy Martins, who joined Credit Suisse in May 2007 after 12 years at Morgan Stanley, was most recently an adviser at the bank's prime services division in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, focused on business strategy.
